Wrinkle Reducing

Wrinkles are caused by many factors. Lifestyle factors influence the likelihood of wrinkle formation. These lifestyle factors include smoking, dehydration, general aging, as well as sun exposure. Wrinkles can be observed in both static and dynamic lines. Volumising

Volume loss is observed in the midface or the lips with aging. Fat pats, collagen and hyaluronic acid decrease which lead to a loss of facial fullness and a hollow appearance. As we age there are changes in skin elasticity as well as the skins appearing sagged or more drooped in appearance. This can in turn lead to jowel or nasolabial fold formation or thinning of the lips.

Not only do our fat pads start to decrease we also lose bone density particularly around the mouth and the upper jaw which can further contribute to facial sagging.

Fat Reduction

Fat reduction treatment are used for treating submental fat or a ‘double chin’. Sometimes no matter how much weight we lose we can still have this double chin due to genetics.

Most people need 3 treatments to achieve optimal results. Ideally, these treatments need to be 1-3 months apart.

Non-surgical fat reduction treatments over liposuction may be more suitable for you as it is the non-surgical approach to reducing fat and is ideal for patients with a small amount of fat and minimal skin laxity.

PDO Mono

PDO Threads are mono threads which are made from Polydioxanone – an absorbable polymer which is inserted into the sub dermal level, in a mesh-like pattern, to promote the creation of new collagen. The threads activate collagen synthesis which produces a gradual skin thickening, skin tightening and rejuvenation effect. The thread which is left inset dissolves after 9 months.

PDO Threads induce natural collagen production, which creates a tightening effect. This effect lasts up to 12 months.

Results may be seen in 8 weeks and will continue to improve over 2 to 6 months.

PDO threads work well in conjunction with volume treatments and wrinkle reducing treatments. A combination of these treatments provide superior results than PDO threads on their own. Platelet Rich

Platelet-rich plasma consists of two elements: plasma, or the liquid portion of blood, and platelets, a type of blood cell that plays an important role in healing throughout the body. Platelets are well-known for their clotting abilities, but they also contain growth factors that can trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration or healing in the treated area. Platelet-rich plasma is simply blood that contains more platelets than normal.

To create platelet-rich plasma, a blood sample is obtained from the patient and placed into a device called a centrifuge that rapidly spins the sample, separating out the other components of the blood from the platelets and concentrating them within the plasma.

After creating platelet rich plasma from a patient’s blood sample the solution is then injected into the target area. PRP is often used for anti aging treatments to stimulate collage within the area that the plasma is injected.
